Cookie policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use at belcita and how you can manage them, in accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and AEPD guidelines.

Template document. The provider’s identifying details (company name, tax ID and address) will be completed before launch. For final use, have it reviewed by your legal counsel.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files downloaded to your device when you visit a website. They let the site work, remember your preferences and, where applicable, obtain statistical information about browsing.

2. Who uses them

The only cookie on the site is first-party and managed by belcita. The sign-up form, the information request form on the /unas/ page and the contact form load Turnstile, a Cloudflare service that checks the person submitting them is human; in the checks carried out it does not store cookies in your browser.

3. Cookies we use

  • cookie-consent (first-party, technical): stores whether you accepted or rejected measurement and the version of the notice text you did it under. Duration: 1 year. It does not require consent.

4. Visit measurement

If you accept the notice, we count three events on the landing site: a page visit, a click on a link to the sign-up and a sign-up started (the first time a field of the sign-up form is edited). Each event is added to a daily counter per page and per campaign parameters (utm_*) in the web address. No measurement cookie and no identifier of you or your device is stored, and the counters do not allow a person to be recognised. The server uses your IP address only to limit abuse: it keeps it for 60 seconds in a temporary counter, deletes it afterwards and does not store it with the measurement. The counters are kept for 24 months. If you reject the notice or do not answer it, nothing is counted. You can withdraw your choice at any time from “Measurement preferences” in the page footer.

5. Legal basis

The cookie-consent cookie is technical and is based on our legitimate interest in remembering your choice about the notice. Measurement is based on your consent and only turns on if you accept. The site uses no other cookies.

6. Managing your consent

When you first visit, we show a notice with Accept and Reject buttons. Either one stores your choice in cookie-consent, together with the version of the notice text; if the text changes, the notice appears again. You can change your choice from “Measurement preferences” in the page footer, or delete the cookie from your browser.

7. Disabling them in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

We may update this cookie policy. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
